STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS

Writing II is a course in which I will learn some good strategies for the development of the

writing skill. Therefore, this essay is aimed to identify the reasons and expectations I have for taking
this course, how this course will contribute to my future professional development and how I will

contribute to attain the learning outcomes successfully.

I have some reasons and expectations for taking this course. I would like to learn more about

the writing skill and improve it day by day. I will do that by practicing. In addition, I believe that the
most important thing is never stop learning. Therefore, this course Writing II is a very important step

to keep moving forward. I intend to study hard and strive every day.

I think this course will contribute to my future professional development in many ways. Since

I am going to be a teacher I will have to teach many things. In this case, I will have to share my
knowledge about writing to my future students. So that, I will have to be ready and know everything

to teach many things about writing.

In order to attain the learning outcomes successfully, I will do many things. First, I have to be

responsible and I will keep my duties as a student, bringing all the necessary materials for this class.
Second, I will try to attend all the classes and I will pay attention in class. Third, I will do my

homework and I will study more on my own in my free time. I will do that by writing texts and
reading texts in English. I will do these things every day to achieve my goals for Writing II.

To sum up, I would like to say that Writing II is an important course for my future life as a
teacher because it teaches me the most important things about what I need to know about the English

language. It teaches me structures of texts to improve my writing skill and many other things.
