Tyrannosaurus Rex (tye-RAN-oh-SORE-us)
a.k.a T-Rex. Its name means ‘Tyrant lizard’. This dinosaur
reigned during the late Cretaceous period and was the king of
dinosaurs. It was a carnivore (meat eater) and a theropod.
Its length was 40 feet. It lived in USA, Canada and Mongolia.
Triceratops (tri-SERR-ah-tops)
Triceratops means ‘Three-horned face’.
It was a herbivore. It lived in the United States, late
Cretaceous period. Its length was 30 feet long.
