For safety measures, within the busy station, sixteen LAMILUX SHEV Flaps Smoke
Lift type M were integrated within the rooflights to extract smoke and heat in the
event of a fire. Below the steel construction, a fire alarm system was installed, which
triggers the SHEV plant via an interface and opens the flaps with the help of a 230
volt electrically controlled chain drive.
