Anaerobic adhesive/sealants – Screw lockings

Screw lockings

• bond, secure screws, nuts and bolts against loosening due to vibration and work as sealant at the same time
• replace permanently conventional fastening methods such as split pins, spring washers and washers
• one component – clean and easy to apply
• for all types and forms of threads
• curing: anaerobic, that is adhesive only cures where no oxygen gets in touch with the adhesive
• curing time: the wider the gap and the more passive the material, the slower the curing
• passive materials: e.g. precious metals, zinc, high-alloy steel, oxide and chromate layers, nickel, tin, aluminium with low CU and/or manganese
content (<1%), glass, ceramic, plastic materials
• active materials: e.g. steel, copper, bronze, brass, aluminium with higher CU and/or manganese content (>1%)
• resistance against a large number of bases, gases, solvents, oils and fuels
