Information: Wear protective gloves, safety goggles and
protective equipment!
DPF which are installed in the turbocharger itself need to be
dismantled for cleaning
For DPF which are installed in exhaust gas system applies:
turned off engine, exhaust gas system needs to be cold
Create access to DPF (temperature sensor or pressure sensor)
For safety, check if DPF is not mechanically damaged or com-
pletely clogged up ! Risk of fire!
Plug the extension probe onto the aerosol container and spray
the can’ s content towards the particulate filter in intervals and let
it react for a short time
Reassemble diesel particulate filter and initiate regeneration of
DPF (static / dynamic)
