I will never reveal the location of Api our island paradise, only to tell you that our closest neighbour, thousands of miles away, is the island of Tonga.
We speak Tongan, having learned it from a passing manupuna (bird).
I will explain the Tongan words used in this extraordinary adventure.
Api - Home, Poto -Wise, Tokoni - One who helps others, Vaha - An open Sea, Άpi Ako - School
Oku kovi ange hono kili 'i he'ene u'u - Her bark is worse than her bite and of course Aata - Sky.
I will finish now, so “nofu a” (goodbye) and “Hiva fiefia” (Happy singing).
