THE GEORGIAN PEAKS FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNAMENT 2018
On behalf of the Peaks Foundation, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all those who participated or supported this year’s Georgian Peaks Golf Tournament on Saturday September 29th. The event was a huge success as everyone enjoyed the scramble format. Mother Nature wasn’t as kind to us this year as in the previous couple of years but all who participated enjoyed the fun and camaraderie on the course and a lovely dinner back at the Peaks.
The event raised almost $14K for the Foundation and would not be possible without the generous support of our golfers, sponsors, dinner guests and our athlete volunteers.
Mark your calendar for next year’s tournament. It is always held the last Saturday in September and next year’s tournament will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019.

2018 GEORGIAN PEAKS LEGENDS
Congratulations to the following Members who have reached the Legends status (still actively skiing at the Peaks at the age of 80 years) this past winter. As such, they will be the latest additions to the GP Legends Board this year.
Louise Newson Peter Newson
In addition we have a new Super Legend for our Board from last year (still actively skiing at the Peaks at the age of 90 years)!
Richard Lovat
They will receive their individual mementos this winter at the Seniors’ Cocktail Party.
