HONORARY PATRONS’ COUNCIL
The Honorary Patrons’ Council is a vital source of progressive leadership and support for Neuchâtel Junior College. Members of the Council play a strategic role in the development of major and legacy gifts and provide a crucial financial foundation from which the school funds exceptional advancements, beyond the NJC Annual Fund.
The council consists of leaders from NJC’s alumni and past parent communities — supporters who are knowledgeable about the strategic objectives of NJC. The Patrons are ambassadors who raise the profile of the school and help to develop philanthropic relationships within the independent school community.
Members have a high degree of personal experience in major gift and/or foundation fundraising and are seasoned philanthropists with a personal history of substantial major giving. Members are skilled at attracting significant gifts, identifying prospects, helping to develop strategic cultivation plans, enlist and evaluate new members and drive solicitations.
Honorary Patrons are recognized advocates of experiential education, whose philanthropic interests are aligned with the school’s mandate to nurture a high degree of academic rigor in a global context. Members champion a selection of special projects specific to their own strategic interests and make substantial yearly investments to advance these endeavours.
