Write about a choice, bad or good, that has made a big difference in
               your life.

               Essay 2: Small Choices

When we think of choices, we tend to focus on big, life-changing

choices such as a choice of career, school, or life partner. But

sometimes, small choices are important. What choices do you (or can
you) make every day that will end up making a difference in your life?

A narrow Fellow in the Grass

               Emily Dickinson

Emily Dickinson loved the natural world and, as

you will see in this poem, almost all of its
inhabitants. The poem that follows, like much of

Dickinson’s poetry, reflects a close observation of

               nature.

A narrow Fellow in the Grass

                    Occasionally rides—

You may have met Him— did you not

                    His notice sudden is— 4

The Grass divides as with a Comb—

                    A spotted shaft is seen—

And then it closes at your feet

                    And opens further on— 8
