a representation of a goddess of victory, you know exactly how
Louise is carrying herself. Without checking the Internet for an
image, describe her.
10. At the end of the story, Brently Mallard is amazed by the
chaos that accompanies his arrival, including “Richards’ quick
motion to screen him from the view of his wife,” an ambiguously
phrased statement that could have two meanings. What are
