Kate Sweeney describes Sarah Peacock as a person who, through
the practice of yoga, has embraced the philosophy of letting go.
Peacock has thrown away awards and magazine stories. She tattoos
people she will never see again. Her designs walk out of her shop on
someone’s skin. In regard to letting go, people differ. Some let go and
live simply, while others cherish their possessions, creations, and
memories. Do you hold on or do you let go? Write an essay telling
which way you lean and give specific examples.
