In an essay, describe a special tradition, knowledge, or way of doing

               Essay 3: What’s in a Name?

Write an essay discussing the different messages people send

through the way they use others’ names. There are a couple of

different approaches you might take. One is to write a process essay

telling what rules should apply in using others’ names. You might
consider such matters as whether the other person is a stranger or an

acquaintance, whether the person is older or younger, and whether

the relationship is business or personal. Another is to write an

example essay discussing the names various people call you and

what those names convey to you.
