Prewriting sparks creativity. When you are not worried about
whether your ideas are right or wrong, you are more likely to think
creatively and let your thoughts flow freely.
Prewriting prevents “fizzle in the middle.” It’s a horrible feeling
to get to the middle of your essay and realize you have nothing
more to say on your topic. Writers who prewrite and plan seldom
have that problem.
