Word Choice Problems
Rewrite the following sentences to correct word choice problems.
1. It was the unanimous consensus of all the members that the
club should not meet the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, so
the meeting was postponed until a later time.
2. Seriously, dude, “Dialog in the Dark” is an interactive museum
exhibit that allows visitors to experience familiar settings in total
darkness with a blind person as a guide.
3. Brian says he got ripped off by the car dealership when he
bought his first car. Now he wishes he hadn’t been so clueless.
4. Due to the fact that he has not learned his way around campus,
Louis is basically late for every class.
5. When my little brother rubs me the wrong way, I just tell him to
take a hike.
