CHAPTER 1
*SI system of units
SI stands for ‘System International’. This system derives all units from
seven basic units, which are: length expressed in m, mass expressed in kg,
time expressed in second, electric current expressed in ampere,
temperature in Kelvin, luminous intensity in candela (cd), and amount of
substance in mole.
