                  By applying Biot-Savart law, we can determine the magnetic field strength

               around current-carrying conductors arranged in different manner. Some of
               these are explained as follows.




                                        5.2.3 Application of Biot-Savart Law

               a) Magnetic field strength around a long straight current-carrying conductor


               Field strength around a long conductor will be calculated by using expression

               (5.8) from θ = 0 to θ = π as shown in Fig. 5.8.
