              2 cups flour
(I use 1 c. brown rice flour
& 1 c. white flour) 1⁄2 cup sugar
3 tsp. baking powder 1⁄2 tsp. cinnamon
1⁄4 tsp. nutmeg
1 egg
3⁄4 to 1 cup milk
1⁄4 cup of melted butter 1 cup blueberries
             Makes 12
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Sift together the dry ingredients.
Beat the egg and add to milk.
Pour into dry mixture and slowly blend.
Fold in melted shortening and then blueberries.
Pour into muffin tin (either lightly greased or use foil liners).
Bake 20 minutes.
Cool ten minutes or more before enjoying
