Light in our Journey
When we chose the theme of "light" for this season's magazine, I was excited to see how my Journey family would reflect and share with us. You did not disappoint!
In Scripture, light is used to represent truth, justice, goodness, and Jesus himself. So, it's worth exploring the physical and spiritual characteristics of light. It doesn't simply illuminate, it reveals. Light, when Jesus is involved, takes us deeper into his life and kingdom.
I was so blessed by each submission for this edition of Seasons. Although the sun has been out a fair amount this summer,
it has been difficult to wait for God's light to break through the dark times we are living through.
This magazine contains "snapshots" of what some in our church family are learning and experiencing through God's gift of light. I hope you enjoy their generous gifts to us and that your understanding of light expands to reveal more about God, his creation, and his love for you.
