BENNY BLOSS
As an amateur, Benny Bloss received the holy grail of all things righteous, the AMA Horizon Award at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, in 2015. Since then, Benny has brought the fountains of youth into supercross quite successfully, scoring points at each and every race thus far, even though
the last few weeks have seen a decline in his results. After starting off the year strong, the past two East rounds have seen Bloss finishing 19th, both, of which, would be his worst finishes of the year. The Blue Buffalo/Slater Skins Yamaha rider has got a few good starts in a couple rounds, battling up front here and there, but hasn’t yet completely capitalized. Looking back to Toronto, round 3 of the East series, Double B boosted off the gate into 6th crossing lap one. If it goes to show the speed of the #167, homeboy finished 7th fourteen laps later, after charging up to 3rd by the halfway mark of the main event. With a result so close to factory team status, the newcomer to supercross has apparently adapted well to his Saturday night surroundings and is proving his worth each and every week. Nevertheless, that performance was his only top 10 finish to this point. Either way, the blue bike of Benny is, no-doubt, a hard charging force in the field, usually working its way up from the back of the pack. To remind you, this new student of supercross only has five rounds under his belt and is already displaying the speed to throw down. For round six this past weekend, the Missouri native headed into his home race for some Saturday night combat, looking for the start he had back in Canada.
