In qualifying, Jake Weimer had a laptime of 55.8, setting him in the 17th position. His heat race proved to be a struggle for him as he had to work his way through the pack after hitting the gate and stalling his bike. Don’t worry Jake; it happens to the best of us. After a 13th place finish in his heat, Weimer lined up in the semi with Ryan Dungey,
Justin Bogle, and Weston Peick; it was a rough day for a lot of riders! With a very unevent- ful semi, Weimer finished behind Dungey and Bogle. After a better start than in his heat, Jake Weimer was hovering around the 20th place mark, but after 20 laps he had battled his way up to 13th place. This helped Weimer secure his 10th place in the overall points standing, with only 2 more rounds, Weimer needs to stay consistent and upright in order to maintain a 10th overall in the 450 class.
