It was a long gruelling night for the #28 of Weston Peick as he started within the top 10
and dropped back to 16th by the time the checkers flew. Peick started his heat race a bit rough after a highly aggressive move on Stewart dropped the pair of riders out of qualifying contention. Sending himself to the Semi and James to the grandstands for the night. The JGR rider made short work of the competition in his Semi race as he started in 8th and
was comfortably in 4th after the first lap. Putting himself into a qualifying position for the main event. Weston started the main event inside the top 10 and was even up to 8th place before he slowly started to fade back just after the mid way point. Indianapolis and St. Louis are two rounds Peick would like to forget as he showed that he can run inside the top 10 at Toronto, Detroit and Santa Clara. With just three races remaining this season keep an eye on the Fly Racing rider to work hard to put himself back where he deserves.
