There was no shortcuts for the JGR / Autotrader / Toyota / Yamaha / FlyRacing rider of Weston Peick as he earned his spot on such a prestigious team after being a privateer for most of his career. Peick has went from a full privateer effort, paying most of the season out of his own pocket,
to a highly sponsored fully equipped team. Weston has been on the podium in the premier class twice before, both in the 2015 season. The #28 Yamaha rider shows a sign of brilliance each year, but being inconsistent with results seem to be the his downfall. The former privateer belongs to be in the top 10 week in and week out. Watch for Weston as he surely will show all of the dreamers out there that hard work pays off and to never give up on something you are passionate about.
