Although Elias and Beaubier have been competing against each other throughout the past three seasons, it seems as though their rivalry is just heating up. The two of them had a little bit of a tussle last year at Road America due to some hard braking maneuvers but nothing like what occurred on the final lap of the first race at Road America this year. It’s clear that Beaubier wasn’t his championship back and he’s not going to let Elias command the field in the same manner as last year; it’s also clear that MotoAmerica fans nationwide are in for an exciting year of racing, as well as many years to come.
