fashion. It was much of the same song and dance for the second moto, where Fineis would go onto set the fastest lap on the second go-around, dipping into the one minute, forty-three second range. Each lap, the lead would be multiplied by two and three seconds, eventually maxing out at a sixteen second gap by the time the checkered flag had waved. He was confident in his abilities coming into this event, and this was just another piece of reit- eration in the arsenal of his resume. A one-one tally could simply not be beat, and it was a quest for more as the weekend would carry on; everyone simply seemed to be asking, “Could Fineis be stopped?”

Making the trek from Scottsdale, Arizo- na, DJ Weber’s trek to Ponca City wasn’t one of just a short day’s drive, but rather a plethora of hours and miles adding to the odometer. The crew packed up and looked to head to middle America, want- ing to make their presence known at the infamous MotoPlayground Race here
in Oklahoma, and Weber would do just that. His first moto began with the “51x” across his number plate, headed out to a third place spot for the opening two laps. Behind Cameron Campbell, and ahead of Cole Jones, the three would make a trio of sorts, flip flopping in the laps to
