THE MOTOPLAYGROUND RACE
at Ponca City
3
Located just down the road from Ponca City, Pied- mont, Oklahoma plays host to a young woman who’s been blazing the local scene. She has all of the right tools to be successful, and an attitude for winning and respect like no other. Kyleigh Stallings is a racer that’s full of promise, and coming into
this historic race presented by MotoPlayground, wanted to set an exceptional tone with all eyes
upon her. Moto number one saw Stallings rocket
off the line, and into a second place position. She was absolutely killing it, but quickly found herself
in a battle with Michigan’s Landry Hazen. The two young ladies would go back and forth, truly spicing up racing matters and jockeying for position. It was a battle for the ages, with the two swapping paint
at one point, with Landrey getting the upper hand. However, Stallings wouldn’t be denied in her pursuit for a podium finish. She would be resilient in her quest for a solid showing. With her elbows up, and inside foot never dabbing the ground, she would absolutely rip through these corners, with style as graceful as any male you’d see in Supercross. With a small margin of gap over Texas’ Jorgia Watson, she would give it all she had until the finish line on lap four. This third place ride, would set her up pretty for the second moto, where she could claim a solid overall. A second place start had her just behind
the leader of Nielsen, and looking to make moves
if capable. Throwing down an outstanding time of one minute, fifty nine seconds on lap two, it was a piece of marvelous riding. She would hold her own, but again finder herself battling with Landrey Hazen for this runner-up position. After an episode filled with tenacity, Stallings would find her home in the third place position, eager to see what the rest of the laps would entail. With her family and friends yelling and cheering from the sidelines, she had an extra boost of momentum propelling her to keep her focus forward. The ruts and pure ruggedness of this track couldn’t keep the upper hand, as she was truly be- ing the one to tame this layout. Stallings would take the checkered flag with yet another solid third place finish, and would accumulate third overall, landing a pristine spot on the podium. An awesome ride for an awesome young lady!
