a house, 2 cars and married my high school sweetheart, Anna. When I looked back at my life,
I realized I had spent almost half my life riding on something then the other half just being an “adult” — I decided it was time to rejoin life on twos. New to riding all over again, I took up a newfound interest in attending races and track days as a spectator, but I never gave much thought to the idea of racing myself until sometime in 2013. It was then during a WERA race weekend at Road Atlanta, I was trying my hand at amateur sports photography. Being new to photography, I wanted to capture a wheelie shot of one of the riders as they crested the hill. After hundreds of failed shots, I finally got the settings and timing just right...This photo, in this very moment, inspired me to go racing. Funny to think how a single photo has the ability to influence someone’s life so much...yet, in a few short years, my goal to race the same bike on the same racetrack and pull a wheelie became a reality.
With you and your wife being a superior tandem within the racing community, how did you meet Mrs. Anna Rigby? Was the hobby of motorcycle riding on the forefront of both your interests? Or do you take a hint of credit for bringing her into the world in which she loves today?
