Davi Millsaps returns to his hometown state for Round 8 of the Monster Energy Supercross series. Although Davi was fighting some nagging injuries, the Georgia crowd gave him some extra motivation to push through the night. Making his fans proud, Millsaps got off to a great
start in the main event and was right in the mix. Battling with all the heavy hitters early in the race, Davi found himself in a battle between Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Jason Anderson and Factory HRC Honda’s Cole Seely. As all three riders battled for fifth position, the games began between Anderson and Seely. The two would get together in a corner and end up on the ground, making it easy for Davi to take the fifth place position. As the laps went on Davi continued moving forward. Catching his BTO Sports KTM team mate Justin Brayton on lap ten, Davi would make the pass and move to fourth place. Millsaps rode smart for the remainder of the race and crossed the finish in 4th place. A great night for the entire BTO Sports KTM team as Davi Millsaps and Justin Brayton both earned their best finishes of the season.
