Canard’s great qualifying practice confidence didn’t follow him into the main event. In a field with so much talent a 15th place start won’t allow you to battle for wins or even podiums, which is where Trey found himself early on in the
race. Trying to latch on to Factory Suzuki’s Ken Roczen, Canard was looking to salvage his night till a mis- take left him in 18th place on lap 10. Trey only made it up to a 16th place finish by the final lap. The Factory Honda rider has so much talent, heart, and drive that everyone can feel the disappointment of this result.
