After the smoke cleared
in AT&T stadium, a bass- thumping, window-rattling sound could be heard amongst the Arlington pit area. “Du, Du hast, Du hast mich.....” ahh it was the sound of Rammstein, a staple in Deutschland music history. Why was a song from a ’97 industrial metal band being blasted you
ask? It was for none other than that of Ken Roczen,
the German phenom who claimed the win that evening.
The Soaring Eagle rider chose to depart from his nest and
swoop into victory lane last weekend. With the RCH crew ecstatic, many wondered what caused Ken to flip the switch and put it all together. To the sponsor’s delight, rumors began to circulate that Ken had consumed an 8” ham and cheese wheat hoagie prior to the parade lap, and really took Jimmy John’s slogan to heart, “Freaky Fast.”
Roczen hopes to carry the momentum generated from last
weekend’s brilliant effort into A-Town success. He’s checked off wins in many stadiums across the United States, and he expects to add a “Dirty Bird” to the trophy case come Sunday morning.
