On the brutal Indy track, Reed lived up to his well-established reputation by gaining speed in the later laps of the main event. The dude is beyond comfortable atop the factory Yamaha and used his stamina for a charge all the way until the final lap.
Earlier in the night, Reed and Tomac fought for the final transfer position with Chad coming up short and crossing the line in 5th, heading into one of the semi’s. In that race, Reed got off the line in 4th, making quick work to get into 2nd. He stayed there for the rest of the short race, finishing just behind Baggett and conserving his energy by avoiding the LCQ. After another brief break, Reed made his way back through the tunnel for round thirteen with enough motivation to last all twenty laps. As the 30-second board turned sideways,
