JUSTIN HILL
Justin Hill was able to quietly develop as a fantastic supercross racer because of his older brother Josh’s success. Justin was not as dominant of an amateur as his brother but he was able to find success once he hopped on the big bikes. And that success late in his amateur career was enough to earn him a factory ride with Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki for his
rookie season. His first two seasons as a pro were solid and he even grabbed a big win in his second year. He asserted himself as a contender night in and night out. In his third season in 2015, Justin joined Red Bull KTM and struggled just a little bit initially. He had high expectations after a fantastic performance at the 2014 Monster Energy Cup but fell just short of satisfy- ing the expectations. Now in 2016, Justin has never looked better. He started the 250 East Series with back-to-back stellar come from behind rides resulting in a 5th and a 2nd. He clearly had the speed to win both races but the bad starts did not help his cause. Then last weekend in Toronto, he took a commanding win, his first on a KTM, and put himself right in the thick of the title hunt. It was a huge confidence booster and momentum builder. If Justin gets another good start this weekend in Detroit, he will be the man to beat.
