Malcolm is long overdue for a win. He has proven time and time again he is de- serving of it and Saturday afternoon in Detroit was no different. Malcolm took no time jumping to the top of the leader board in both qualifying sessions. His qualifying time was nearly a half a second faster than the rest of his fellow 250
riders. He went into the night show ready to get that first win of 2016. In 250 Heat 2, Malcolm busted out of the gate with vengeance. He got the holeshot and cruised to an easy win. Although he dominated the Heat, it was reported that he had inherited a strange illness throughout the day, and would set his sights on putting down 15 solid laps.
