What an Ironic night it was for Jason Anderson. After getting docked two positions at round three of the Monster Energy Supercross series due to jumping on a red cross flag, Jason was put to the test tonight in Detroit. A bad start in heat race number one forced Anderson to make passes in a hurry if he wanted to qualify directly into the main event. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Josh Grant held the final transfer position and was Anderson’s main
focus. Patiently waiting behind him for a couple of laps Jason almost made the pass when they entered a section with red cross flags flying. Being oh too familiar with the rulebook, Anderson checked up and made sure to roll every jump. A few turns later he would secure the pass and head directly to the main. As the final race of the night began, Anderson got a great start and made his way to 3rd place by the end of lap five.
