Davi Millsaps comes into round 6 of the Monster Energy Supercross series fresh off his best finish of the season. The confidence he brought along with him was obvious in practice. Setting lap times that were on the top of the board throughout the afternoon. Davi would end up 3rd overall, qualifying the highest he has all season. His confidence would continue right into the
night show as Davi found himself in a heated battle for the lead in heat race number 2. Exchanging multiple passes with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Jason Anderson on the last lap, Davi held strong and got his third heat race win of the season. The gate dropped in the main event and Davi was up front heading into the first turn. Almost grabbing the holeshot, Davi was pushed into the hay bails and shuffled back to 7th. More misfortune would take place on lap three, pushing Davi all the way back 15th place and ruining his chances at a podium finish.
The rest of the race Millsaps battled it out with RCH Racing rider Jake Weimer for the 11th place position. Passing each other multiple times, Davi finally secured the spot and finished 11th place overall for the night.
