Bloss got off to a similar start in moto two escaping lap one in eleventh place once again. He also quickly moved into eighth place just as he did in the opening moto. He locked his sights on teammate Justin Brayton and would make that pass ten minutes into the moto. Now in seventh, he Bloss began hunting down Nicoletti just as he did the moto before. It took him several laps but he would make the pass in the second half of the race to move into sixth. He would hold the position all the way to the wire besting his career best from the first moto. The 8-6 moto scores would both be career bests helping him nail a career best seventh overall. It was an exceptional day for the rookie and everything seems to be falling into place.
