>> It was a big race for Cameroon Mcadoo in New Jersey debuting on his new ride with factory Geico Honda racing. Early in the season he sustained a hand in- jury that kept him on the sidelines for these last few races. Making his comeback to Supercross on a new team was a big step for the young Honda rider. Qualify- ing for the night show in 10th it was shaping up to be a good night for Mcadoo early on. Lining up for the first heat race of the night Mcadoo got a killer start putting him right into 3rd place. The battle heated up quickly between him and Dylan Ferrandis for 2nd place. Trying hard to hold onto 2nd place, Mcadoo was looking good on his new Honda ride. Unable to hold on he fell back to 3rd where he would finish the race and transfer onto the main event. Holding onto the con- fidence he gained in the heat race, the Geico Honda rider got another great start in the main event. Sitting in fifth place around the first lap he was looking strong maneuvering through the insane track conditions. Focusing on keeping it up on two wheels Mcadoo fell back to 8th on the 3rd lap settling in behind Renzland. About half way into the race Cunningham got by him as he was working his
way through the field sending Mcadoo back to 9th. Not looking to lose anymore positions the #128 Honda rider held on for the rest of the main event in 9th place where he crossed the finish line. A strong comeback from injury and debut on his new Geico Honda ride.
