>> Fredrik Noren has been working hard this year riding for TiLube Honda, he has had to fight some tough injuries this season. After crashing early in the sea- son, he needed surgery to fix his elbow while on break. Even though it was only a couple weeks of recovery he was still forced to sit out a race. Coming back
to the season in New Jersey with only two races left of the season, Noren was looking to improve his season best finish of 8th place. After qualifying into the night of racing in 9th place, Noren was looking good heading into his heat race. The Honda rider got a decent jump out of the gate putting himself immediately into qualifying position around 7th place. He passed Paul Coates right away moving into 6th place where he finished off the heat race. Now onto the main event Noren was looking comfortable choosing the right ruts and lines through- out the beat up New Jersey track. He charged hard out of the gate and put himself into 12th. Not quite the position he was hoping for out of the gate but he was quick to get into the heat of the battle. Starting with Cunningham catching him, Noren made it difficult for him to get by, but unfortunately lost his position and fell back to 13th. But before he knew it he was battling with Harrison to get his 12th place position back. A few more laps into the race he caught Gannon Audette moving into 11th place. A little over half way through the race Noren makes a small mistake that Audette was able to capitalize on sending him back into 12th. Noren couldn’t get the pass back and finished off the race with a 12th overall. Considering he was coming off a surgery Noren was looking good out there.
