>> Jesse Wentland has made every single main this year during the 250 East coast Supercross season. Riding very consistent throughout the year his best finish so far has been an 11th place right outside of the top ten. He is currently 13th in points and working on proving his skills hoping to land a contract for the 2017 outdoor season. For the second to last race he qualified 20th into the night. A little further back than he was hoping for but quickly made that
up in his heat race. Getting a good jump out of the gate he was in 10th right outside of a transfer position. Wasting no time to get to where he needed to be he passes Joshua Cartwright for the last transfer spot to the main. Just barely making it in out of the heat race, Wentland had some work to do to improve his results in the main event. Getting a really poor jump out of the gate of the main event Wentland found himself all the way back in 17th. With way too many riders ahead of him than behind him, he had his work cut out for him. Jerry Robin goes down sending Wentland into 16th. Around the 5th lap the TiLube Honda rider then makes a pass on Nick Gaines moving himself into 15th. About half way through the race he was able to make another quick pass on Keith tucker moving up another position. Not letting his bad start get in his head, Wentland made a good recovery up to 14th place by the end of the main event.
