prohibited another race of attrition and although it was frigidly cold in downtown Minnesota, the racing action was on fire for the final Triple Crown of the season. The 250SX division switched back over to the east coast crop of riders and all of the attention was on the budding rivalry between Zach Osborne and Austin Forkner. The Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider was eager to close the gap in the championship standings as evidenced by his relentless pace in qualifying practice. He went
on to win the first main event in convincing fashion, but a mistake at the beginning of the second main event derailed the rest of
his evening, spurring him onto a consecutive run of crashes that resulted in a broken collarbone, effectively ending his season. Although Jeremy Martin was on
a tear in front of the home crowd, the next couple of races served as a turning point in the 250SX East Championship as Zach Osborne collected consistent results to award him second place overall ahead of Jordon Smith.
In the 450 division, there was a lot of parody between the normal contenders as they each found themselves off of the podium in any three of the main events. Eli Tomac was ultimately the most consistent throughout the night and took the overall victory ahead of Jason Anderson and Marvin Musquin, but Anderson would have challenged for the win if he had not faced a penalty for going off of the track and riding next to a rhythm section before rejoining. Nonetheless, the 450 points leader maintained a healthy margin in the championship
and managed to gain points
on his closest rival going into
the fifteenth round of action in Foxborough.
