multiple outsides, just to seek new, alternate lines. He would yet again, come across the line claiming the silver medal position. The third moto almost seemed to be catastrophic for Masterpool, as the pack had immersed themselves in the front of the field, with the exception of both he and Dilan Schwartz. Masterpool, now 15th, and Schwartz, 26th, had to play catch-up, while riders like Mumford were storming away. It was now time for an all-out blitz by Ty, cross rutting, switching lines, and using all boundaries of the layout, just to make passes. It would pay off, as the 15th was quickly translated into a third place ride by the end of the moto; he’d gapped Schwartz and Robertson, and with Mumford’s previ- ous finishes, he knew he’d done enough to claim the championship. The champagne never tasted so sweet!
