It was the same song and dance for the majority of the moto, Bennick was stretching the lead out in front, looking to steal this title away from everyone else. Meanwhile, Cochran was doing all he could, working his way into second ahead of Deegan. They say luck is where preparation meets opportunity, and an unfortunate mistake on the part of Bennick, resulted in a first place position up for grabs, with only a few laps to go. Cochran pounced, taking the lead, and eventually the win. Throwing his hands in the air, and getting high five’s of all kinds under the protest tent. It would result in yet another championship to his resume, both he and his team ecstatic.
