Three consecutive top five finishes for the young gun Colt Nichols has put him just eight
points shy of being within the top three of the 250 West Coast championship. Keeping it close to the podium each round there is a good chance he can sneak his way into that third place spot. He said going into Arlington he now has the mental momentum to get those finishes after staying within the top five each round after his first ever podium finish in Oakland. Knowing he is now one of the guys to chase he has the confidence to be out front, it’s no longer a surprise to him.
