Colt Nichols of the CycleTrader/ RockRiver/ Yamaha put in another solid ride keeping close to the front. He gets a good start in the heat race immediately within the top five. Quickly passing Alldredge, Nichols moves his way into second place where he will finish his heat
race and move onto the main. Knowing that starts are crucial, especially on a track like Arlington’s where passing is not the easiest, Nichols gets off the gate within the top ten. Moving forward to fifth right away, Savatgy hits hard through the whoops causing Nichols to gain another position. Now in fourth place Nichols kept as close as he could to Osbourne who was putting in a good third place ride. Making no mistakes the rest of the race, Colt Nichols finishes off round 7 with a fourth place, continuing his top five streak.
