Weston started his day off not like he wanted to, qualifying only 14th. In the Heat, Weston was not able to get into qualifying position due to troubles in the first lap. When 450 Semi 2 began, the #28 put on a
show. He battled to the top and took the win, he would go to the Main. This is where Weston’s night took a turn for the worse. He would begin the Main in a decent spot but troubles would strike and Peick eventually pulled off and watched the race from the mechanics area.
Hopefully the JGR rider can bounce back next weekend.
