Kyle Peters has yet to finish outside of the top ten this supercross season. With Round 7 marking the last 250 West Coast round for numerous weeks, Peter’s looks to continue his streak and possibly sneak into the top five. He started his day in Arlington
qualifying 11th. Rocketing out of the gate in heat two, Kyle entered the first turn in the lead. A mistake in the whoops on lap one pushed him back to 5th place. Holding his position for the remainder of the race Peter’s finished 5th and transferred directly into the main. Another great start in the main event put him in a great position early in the race. Crossing the line in 7th place on lap one and holding his position for more than half of the main event.
The pressure was applied with just a few laps to go when he was passed by Geico Honda’s Jimmy Decotis and Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Chris Alldredge. Kyle would end his night finishing 9th place overall and keep his streak of top ten finishes alive.
