Don’t let the title of this class fool you, the significance of the letter “B” doesn’t correspond with a typical school grading scale. Many of these riders are considered A+ elite, and to the naked eye, they conquer the track like superstars. There’s no shortage of corner speed, and the rhythm sections are tamed and catapulted with a breeze. The entry speed to the whoop and roller sections you ask? Not a question, as many of these guys are shifting up, and twisting the throttle even more, rather than backing down and quieting the motor. Timing and scoring had names such as Shimoda, Hammaker, and Neese, registering in the top three. Boy could these pilots fly, at times, intersecting signals with the local airport due to the turbulence they were creating. The freshly signed Factory Connection import of Shimoda, looked to be showing what the team had originally saw, fending off the likes of one the week’s favor- ites, in Hammaker. The order would finish as previously listed, with Neese rounding out the top three.
