Years ago, the sports of Supercross and motocross, were considered the pioneer of action sports. The “end all, be all” wildest of shows, they truly were considered one of the most rigorous, and dangerous activities on the planet. Built, and bred, on the premise
of male thrill seeking, women had yet to solidify their true equality as a whole, and compete in the sport where male domination was evident. Fast forward a few years, and you now have women blazing trails like never before, marching around the track with jaw- dropping speed. Riders like Jordan Jarvis have fans puzzled, as she blitzes passed the majority of any male competition in sight, and seeks victory against anyone on the gate, no matter what gender. For this particular class, many had a hypothesis of Hodges and Jarvis going neck and neck for the title, and they were right, to an extent.
