racetrack. With Korie Steede in second, she knew she couldn’t relax, but felt confident of her ability to continue to lead the field. Set- ting the fastest time on lap number three, she read the all-clear sign from her mechanic, and took home the final flag. It was Steeded who followed in second, and Landrey Hazen rounding out the final position on the podium. For the second round of action, Jarvis was bound and determined to repeat her performance, because as we all know, you’re only as good as your last race. She was ready to solidify her self as champion, and she started off the moto in excellent fashion. Just behind the holeshot artist of Jazzmyn Canfield, she would creep and prey on the number 46 for laps on end. Every switchback, she would show her front fender, but Canfield, as strong as she was, wasn’t backing down. Jarvis held on tight though, never letting of the throttle, and persistency would come true to its might. When on the last lap, Jarvis, somehow managed to finagle her way past Canfield with pure speed! They were acting so tough and courageous, that the entire crowd was jumping up and down! Each mechanic roaring to the point of exhaustion was enough to propel Jarvis to the stripe first. She’d done it, yet both girls earned the strongest of handshakes.
