Jeremy Martin started off moto one side by side with Shane McElrath falling behind him into the second place position. Right off the get go Plessinger was all over him, pushing him even harder to chase down McElrath. A few minutes Plessinger made the pass on him pushing him back to third. After getting passed the fire was lit and Martin began to charge hard not liking where his race was already heading. Turning the throttle he stole a line away from Plessinger passing him back. Now 2nd Martin once again started to close the gap between him and McElrath. Right around twelve minutes into the race he passed for the lead. Martin quickly pulled away from the pack. With less then ten minutes to go of the race he gained a six second lead on second place. During the final two laps of the moto Webb began catching him, but Martin was able to maintain the first place position through the finish. Gaining him- self another moto win of the season. Getting another good start in moto two Martin was right around 5th place. A train of riders was formed and they were all battling to get themselves into the top three, Martin included. He passed Davalos for 4th and then started to reel in McElrath. Gaining some good drive through the turns he pulls the trigger to pass the TLD KTM rider, but couldn’t seal the deal. Staying close to McElrath, Martin loses vision through a turn and tucks the front end causing him to crash. In no hurry to get up he falls back to 12th place losing his podium position. Now having to play catch up, the Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha rider wasn’t going to let another small mistake ruin his weekend again, so he began his push back to the front. With less then ten min- utes left of the race he moved his way into 10th right behind Davalos. Taking advantage of some falling riders he was able to move forward another two positions and gain a pass on Plessinger moving him all the way back into 6th. Even though he was now in a position for an overall on the podium, Martin wasn’t done charging to the front. Tonus makes a mistake sending Martin up another position, now 5th and chasing down his brother. An unfortunate crash for McElrath around some of the final turns gave Martin one more step up into 4th place. Going 1-4 Martin rounded out round 7 with a second overall his third podium of the year.
