Round 3 of the Monster Energy Supercross series would return to Anaheim
for another night of bar banging action. A tricky right hand first turn into a troublesome rhythm section would cause multiple pile-ups throughout the night. Unfortunately for Michael Leib, he was caught right in the middle of the madness immediately after the start of his heat race. Not being able to secure a transfer- ring position, Leib would have to head to the line for the LCQ. Making sure to stay out of the first turn carnage, Leib would ride a smart race finishing 3rd and qualify- ing for the Main Event. Pushing the Blue Buffalo/Slater Skins Yamaha to the line 21st gave Michael an unfavorable gate choice. Showing great effort working his way forward from a bad start, Leib would finish the night in 13th place. Michael currently sits in 15th place in the 250 West Region points series.
